Toshiba introduced three Android tablets – the Excite Pure, Excite Write and Excite Pro at Computex 2013.The tablets are priced at $299, $499,and $599, respectively.
Excite Pure:
Excite Pure has a 1280×800 resolution display and runs on Android 4.2.2. It is powered by Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. The Excite Pure has 1GB DDR3 memory, 16GB internal storage, built-in Micro HDMI, Micro USB ports and a microSD slot.
Excite Pro:
Excite Pro runs Nvidia’s brand new Tegra 4 quad-core processor and sports 2GB of RAM. The display is a 10.2-inch PixelPure panel with an iPad 4-rivalling 2560 x 1600 resolution and runs runs Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean).
Excite Write:
Excite Write has a a 10.1-inch PixelPure digitizer display (2560 x 1600) featuring Corning Gorilla Glass 2.The Excite Write is powered by the Nvidia Tegra 4 mobile processor, and runs Android 4.2, Jelly Bean. It also includes 2GB DDR3 memory, 32GB internal storage, an 8MP rear camera, built-in Micro HDMI, Micro USB ports and a microSD slot. It allows the user to ‘write’ with the Wacom digitizer which comes with the tablet.
All three tablet models will be available beginning on June 25, 2013.
